NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

VISION

To develop character, Commandership, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of self less service amongst the youth of the country.

MISSION

To create a human resource of organized trained and motivated youth and to create suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.

NCC Army Wing of our college has been functioning since 1983. Our College is rural based and the students who hail from remote villages are of robust health. Having trained in NCC they have been selected in the Army Recruitment and State Police Service. Our College NCC Cadets have vbeen participating in Republic Day Camps and National Level Thal Sainik Camps at New Delhi.

The Strength of our NCCSenior Wing (Girls) is 110. The training is conducted as per the direction of the Commanding Officer , 2(TN) Girls Bn Ncc, Madurai. Our College NCC Unit has organised many social service activities like Blood Donation Camp, Tree plantation programme and so on.

At present Lt. Dr. R. Kalaiarasi is looking after the wing of our College respectively.

High Lights

Many NCC Cadets participated in Republic Day Camp and National Level Thal Sainik Camp at New Delhi.

By getting ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificate many NCC Cadets entered in Armed Forces and Tamilnadu Police Services.
